Head Coach:  Brandon Eaket

We are thrilled to welcome back Coach Brandon Eaket for his 3rd season as Head Coach of Senior Varsity Predators.
Last season (Spring 2018) the SV Preds program thrived under Coach Eakets’ leadership, winning the OFC Dittmer Conference Champsionship and advancing to the  OFC Provincial Championship.
We are proud of his outstanding accomplishment in bringing the varsity team to an 8-1 season,  in his 2nd year with the program as HC.  With a clear vision of how to build a program capable of competing at the highest leveles along with a strong track record of recruiting, developing and mentoring high-quality athletes from all over Waterloo Region, we are excited to have Coach Eaket once again take the reins and look forward to watching  the SV program continue to flourish under his direction.

Coach Eaket has his sights firmly set on success for next season. “2018 was an incredible experience and we are excited to build off that success. Our program returns an outstanding core group that will compete again with the best in the province. We are extremely proud of winning the Dittmer Conference in 2018 but will not settle for anything less than a Provincial Championship in 2019”

Coach Eaket is a proud Predator alumni, having played Preds for 4 years, winning OFC Varisty Championships  both as a player and later as an assistant coach. A Waterloo University graduate, Coach Eaket also played slot back with the Warriors for 4 years and continues to have strong ties with the Warriors program, evident with the number of UW players and coaches who are members of his Preds coaching staff.

In 2017 Coach Eaket was awarded the BMO & Toronto Argos Coach Award. This award is in recognition of coaches who exhibit strong leadership in football and demonstrate mentorship attributes that build football players with great character.
Outside of football, Coach Eaket has shown strong commitment to community involvement for which he has won several awards and acknowledgements, including Kitchener Youth Action Council Award , Community Caregiver Award and Kitchener Record’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.  He has also served as a volunteer Head Coach of the special needs hockey program the  Kitchener Ice Pirates for 5 years.  Eaket’s desire to give back to the community was a driving force in his decision to become a police officer.

We are extremely fortunate and grateful to have a coach of Eaket’s caliber with an already impressive record of achievement ,  continue to lead our flagship SV program.
